AboutSafe Roots Consulting is a Canadian-based consultancy specializing in suicide prevention, culturally responsive mental health practice, and community-based interventions. Founded by Dr. Karamat Kelani, a clinical social worker and researcher with over 15 years of practice experience, we help organizations build equitable, culturally affirming mental health systems. Our work is grounded in community knowledge, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based approaches. With roots in both Canada and Nigeria, we bring a global perspective to addressing mental health disparities.
